• What is HM XColdo?

• What limitations has the shareware version of HM XColdo?

  You are granted free use of the unregistered shareware version of HM XColdo for a 30 day trial period. During this trial period HM XColdo offers you full functionality.

• Is the license of HM XColdo bound to a volume/disk?

  No.

• What languages are available for HM XColdo?

  Currently, there are two languages available for HM XColdo, English and German. More languages are planned.

  The language actually used in the user interface of HM XColdo can be set in the program options.

• Where can I find an installation guide for HM XColdo?

• What does the error message 'MSXML libraries initialization failed.' mean?

  This error message means that the Windows component 'Microsoft XML Core Services 6.0' needed for HM XColdo is missing on your computer.

  This Windows component is pre-installed on Windows Vista and later. On previous Windows versions (e.g. Windows XP) you have to install this Windows component separately. Visit the Download Center on the Microsoft homepage and look for the product 'Microsoft XML Core Services 6.0 SP1' in your language. You are allowed to download the associated installation package and install it on your computer for free.

• What to do if the Web browser isn't be able to display a particular 'HM Collection' document?

  Every modern Web browser which knows the W3C specifications for XML 1.0, XSLT 1.0 and XHTML 1.1 is able to display 'HM Collection' documents. If your Web browser doesn't comply with these specifications use the latest version of your browser or a better one.

  If the Web browser displays an error message when opening an 'HM Collection' document, consult the Help on HM XColdo, chapter "'HM Collection' Documents, Web Browser Error Messages" to find out the cause of the error message and how to fix it.

• Where do I find the XSLT transformation file of the 'HM Collection' stock display?

  Usually the 'HM Collection' stock XSLT transformation file has the following file path on your computer:

  C:\Programs\Common Files\HMSE\HM Collection\<version>\collection.xslt

  At the download page of HM XColdo you will find an installer that installs the 'HM Collection' stock display automatically in the above folder.
